  1. A nucleus in physics, is the positively 
  2. charged central part of an atom, which 
  3. constitutes almost all its mass. Except for 
  4. hydrogen nuclei, which have only protons, 
  5. nuclei are composed of both protons and 
  6. neutrons. Surrounding the nuclei are 
  7. electrons, of equal and opposite charge to 
  8. that of the protons, thus giving the atom a 
  9. neutral charge.

  12. membrane-enclosed part of a eukaryotic cell, 
  13. containing the chromosomes.
